I started out looking for a home by signing up for an online ‘home buying’ program. The only good thing that came of that was meeting my realtor, Mary Palma. Right from the beginning, she sent me a bunch of listings for me to sift through. After I eliminated the majority, she showed me everything else – on my schedule and in my time.
She was candid with me from the very beginning. I really appreciated that. As a first time buyer, I questioned everything and wanted straight answers. I wanted to know that I can trust this person to guide me through the largest investment decision I have ever made. Mary patiently made me feel secure – some days I still doubted, but she stood by me and reassured me consistently.
During the whole process, the mortgage broker that was recommended by the online program took 60+ days to get things going. Mary suffered through it with me. She and I spoke almost every day. She even pushed them for me a few times.
Finally, I became fed up with the mortgage broker and applied for a loan with different firm, Mary supported my decision. The new firm came through very quickly and now I am the proud owner of my first home and I love it. Although I haven’t planned it yet, I have already asked her to attend my house warming gathering so that I can be sure to introduce her to all of my friends, neighbors and acquaintances.
Finally, even after I have moved into the house, Mary is still checking on me - she has sent me congratulatory messages and called to make sure that I have received everything that was promised to me.
